Ok... I have not written on this for a while, actually not since I first joined.
The reason I am writing on my wall is because since I last did things have changed considerably. I have just finished my degree in Fine Art, and I feel I have to re - explain myself as an artist because in my final year I learnt so much more than I had in the previous two years. (do not worry I am not going to be pretentious about it either

).
My works are still heavily centered around space and colour, though in a very different way to what they did about a year and a half ago. Throughout the last year I discovered that making an abstract painting is so much harder than one would think, and also much more intense during the making process. I used to think that the more colour I used... the better the artwork would be, or that I had to use the brightest colours I could find, simply because I wanted to express my love of colour! But I discovered that by exploring the making of different colours... I would get so much more appreciation of what I was doing on the canvas. Also, I learnt how to make different marks... which is a small thing but trust me, literally using your hands even with oil paint does pay off.
I apologize for the rant-like entry I have made... but I read what I had originally written and it did not make sense to me anymore

Also to clarify... I still love photography, and I hope you enjoy looking at my images!
